TRAVEL INSURANCE IS MANDATORY: We can provide an insurance quote or you can choose your own insurance provider, but insurance is mandatory.

 

AIRLINE SEATING & SPECIAL REQUESTS: Seating is assigned by the airlines. We do not reserve specific seats with the airline. You may change or upgrade your seat for an additional fee prior to departure. All special needs and dietary requests must be sent/emailed in writing prior to final payment. Mileage program information can be added directly by the passenger at airport prior to departure. Walking and standing are required on this pilgrimage.

 

BAGGAGE: Baggage fees may apply Each participant is allowed to check (1) suitcase weighing no more than 50 lbs., and one small carry-on bag on the plane. Baggage fees are not included. Please check the specific baggage fees on the airline website.

 

TOUR CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations must be in writing. Cancellation is based on the date we receive your written cancellation. Once airline tickets are issued the ticket value is non-refundable and would be in addition to cancellation fees noted below. Unused portions of the trip are not refundable.

  • Full refund less a $250 administrative fee up to December 14, 2021

  • December 15 - 45 days prior to departure 75%

  • 44 days prior to departure or less no refund

 

PRICING: Fuel surcharges and taxes are subject to change based on rates imposed by the airlines at time of ticketing/final invoice. Prices are based on rate of exchange are subject to change based on the rates at time of final invoice. Prices can be protected and guaranteed with full payment.

All travelers must hold a passport that is valid for 6 months after the date of departure from Israel.

 

OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 1 RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR ENTRY TO ISRAEL

It is now official. As of November 1, 2021, there will no longer be a permit system to enter Israel. You will not need to apply for a permit 30 days in advance. You do, however, need to meet certain vaccination or recovery criteria to enter Israel.

 

SUMMARY OF THE REGULATIONS:

  • Entry for Vaccinated travelers only

  • PCR prior to departure of destination of origin. PCR upon arrival Ben-Gurion airport and another PCR prior to departure of Israel if destination country requires that, for example US do require the PCR test upon return).

  • If 6 months passed since your 2nd shot vaccine, a booster is needed other else a PCR check every 3 days.

  • Recovered travelers with Positive PCR test 11 days prior to departure and recovery card valid only for 6 months. (if recovery already exceeded 6 months then a booster vaccination is required)

  • Travelers can enter the country individually or as part of the group as long they meet all above conditions.

  • PCR cost for arrival done online is $27

  • PCR cost per person before departing Israel or during the trip is $65

(departure test is done at hotel while those needing a test 3 days after arrival will be

taken to a nearby Lab for tests).

Day 1

Newark to Tel Aviv
MON - 07MAR We travel by motorcoach to Newark International Airport for our overnight flight to Tel Aviv. Relax and enjoy your flight. Dinner and breakfast served onboard.

Day 2

TUE - 08MAR (Day 2): Arrival Tel Aviv - Jaffa - Tel Aviv
Your tour begins in Tel Aviv, a bustling city brimming with culture and history, situated on the Israeli Mediterranean coastline. Continue to the ancient port city of Jaffa for a leisurely stroll through the winding alleys of the historic area. Tonight, we enjoy our first dinner and overnight at Hotel in Tel Aviv. (D)

Day 3

WED – 09MAR Tel Aviv – Caesarea – Haifa – Nazareth – Cana – Tiberias
After Breakfast, Travel to the walled city and Roman ruins of Caesarea (entrance included). It was here that St. Peter converted the first pagan, Centurion Cornelius, to become a Christian, and St. Paul was imprisoned for two years. Next stop is in Haifa; we will visit the Carmelite Monastery of Stella Maris dedicated to our Lady of Mt Carmel and see the Grotto of the Prophet Elijah where according to tradition he took refuge. (Lunch included) On to Nazareth; the town of Mary’s home, where Jesus played as a child, learned a trade, and grew to manhood. We celebrate Mass at the Basilica of the Annunciation (subject to confirmation), just as St. John Paul II celebrated Mass here during his historic visit to the Holy Land in the Year of Our Lord 2000. Also St. Joseph’s Church. Your day concludes with a visit to Cana, the site of Our Lord’s first miracle, at the wedding feast where you can renew your marriage vows. Dinner & overnight in Tiberias. Day 4

THU – (Day 4): Tiberias – Sea of Galilee – Tabgha – Capernaum – Tiberias
This morning after breakfast, you enjoy a special treat when you take a boat ride & Jesus boat museum (included) on the Sea of Galilee where many of the apostles were fishermen and Our Lord preached. Travel to nearby Capernaum (included) visiting what the Gospels refer to as ‘Jesus hometown” we visit the Synagogue and the church built over the house of the prince of the Apostles recalling Jesus teachings and miracles at Capernaum. Our next stop is the Mt of Beatitudes where the eco if Jesus Sermon on the Mt could still be heard. (Lunch included) where we try the traditional St Peters fish at one of the local restaurants on the shores of the lake. This afternoon we visit the newly excavated site of Magdala (included) home to Mary Magdalene then we end the day at Tabgha visit the church of the multiplication of fish & loaves where Jesus fed the 5000 and St Peters Primacy where Jesus appeared to his disciples after the resurrection. Return to our hotel for Dinner and overnight. (B.L.D)

Day 5

FRI – (Day 5): Tiberias – Mount Tabor – Baptismal Site – Jericho – Jerusalem
After breakfast, you will travel to Mount Tabor “Mt of the Transfiguration” (Taxi included) with a spectacular view of upper Galilee & Valley of Armageddon. Our Journey takes us along the Jordan Valley to Bet Arabah or as mentioned in Gospel of John as Bethany beyond the Jordan where Jesus was baptized. Renewal of Baptismal vows. (Lunch included) Continue to Jericho where we see the Sycamore Tree recalling Jesus encountering Zacchaeus, and then we visit Tel Jericho (included) location of ancient Jericho captured by Joshua from where we view the Mt of Temptation. We start our ascent to Jerusalem to Mt Scopus for our first view of the Holy City and enjoy a special welcome into the Holy City. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem. (B.L.D)

Day 6

SAT – (Day 6): Mount of Olives – Mt. Zion – St. Anne – Bethany
After breakfast, your day will start with a visit to the Mount of Olives. You will visit the Chapel of Ascension (entrance included), Pater Noster where Jesus taught the Lord’s Prayer. Enjoy a Panoramic view of the Holy City. Walk Palm Sunday Road stopping to visit Dominus Flevit the site where Our Lord wept over the city. we visit St Peter in Gallicantu “Caiaphas’ Palace” (entrance included). On to visit the Upper Room and the Cenacle where Jesus had his Passover meal ‘last Supper” then to the nearby Dormition Abbey where the Virgin Mary died. (Lunch included) Followed by a visit to the Church of St. Anne (entrance included), where the Blessed Mother was born. Visit the nearby Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic. Our final stop drives to Bethany (entrance to Lazarus Tomb included,) and visit the Church built on the traditional site of the house of Mary and Martha and their brother Lazarus. Dinner and overnight Jerusalem. (B.L.D)

Day 7

SUN – (Day 7): Gethsemane – Masada – Qumran – Dead Sea
After breakfast we visit the Church of All Nation and Garden of Gethsemane built over the rock on which Our Lord prayed the night before He was crucified. (Mass) Nearby is the Tomb of the Virgin Mary and the Grotto of Gethsemane, the site of Christ’s betrayal by Judas. We drive to the Dead Sea passing the Good Samaritan Inn to Masada (entrance & cable included) where we visit the Mt Rock fortress the last stand of the Zealots against Rome. (Lunch included). On to Qumran (entrance included), the site where the Dead Sea scrolls were found in 1947. Return to Jerusalem. Dinner and Overnight in Jerusalem. (B.L.D)

Day 8

MON – (Day 8): Temple Mount – Wailing Wall – Bethlehem – Shepherds Field – Jerusalem
This morning starts with a visit to the Temple Mount. To see where both Solomon’s and Herod’s Temple stood. On to Bethlehem and enjoy a stop at Shepherds’ Field, where the angels appeared on the first Christmas night. Visit the church of the Nativity built over the birthplace of Our Lord. Dinner & Overnight Jerusalem. (B.L.D)

Day 9

TUE – 15MAR (Day 9): Via Dolorosa – Holy Sepulchre – Ein Karem – Israel Museum
Early this morning we pray the Stations of the Cross along the Way of the Cross. Visit of Ecce Homo Church (included), back to hotel for breakfast. This afternoon, travel to Ein Karem to visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, built over the Grotto of his birthplace and the church of the visitation. Then we will drive to the Israel Museum (entrance included) where we can see the Second Temple Model showing Jerusalem at the time of Christ and Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. Farewell dinner at Wine and Cheese Restaurant or similar. (B.L.D)

WED – (Day 10): Departure
Breakfast and departure for your flight back home. Lunch and snack served aloft. After arrival, luggage and customs we dpeart for home by motorcoach. (B)
