Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Our first stop this morning takes us to Rindge, NH for a visit to the Cathedral of the Pines. The Cathedral of the Pines is a breathtaking open-air Cathedral on 236 acres. The historic monuments honor the service of American Men and Women - both Military and Civilian. Visit the grounds, the monuments and museum before saying good-bye to NH. We journey to Woodstock, VT where you will have free time for lunch and shopping on your own. Enjoy a picture stop at Quechee Gorge (Vermont's Little Grand Canyon) before traveling to Montpelier (Vermont's State Capital). We will make a stop at Morse Sugar Farm where you will learn about maple sugaring followed by a traditional sugar on snow. We make our way to the Burlington, VT area where we make our overnight. Breakfast is served at the hotel. This morning we travel to the Isle of LaMotte for a visit to the beautiful Saint Anne's Shrine. We will enjoy an 11:00 AM mass followed by a picnic lunch. Enjoy a short tour and talk before making our way to the Canadian Border. We cross from Vermont into southern Quebec. Make a rest break at Duty Free before making our way into Montreal. We check into our hotel for the next two evenings. Dinner is included this evening in Montreal's Old Port area. B,L,D)B, L, D
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. This morning we meet our local guide for a day of touring. Today we travel through the city and to the top of Mount Royale and a visit to the Saint Joseph's Oratory, known as one of the great temples in North America. Like many sacred places in various countries, the Oratory, which has room for 10,000 people, attracts visitors who seek a haven of peace and spiritual encounter. We continue to downtown or the Underground where you will have time for lunch and shopping on your own. This afternoon we conclude our day with a visit to one of the most beautiful churches in North America, the Notre Dame Basilica. Another wonderful dinner is served in Montreal this evening. (B,D)B, D
After breakfast, we say good-bye to Montreal. Our first stop this morning takes us to Our Lady of the Cape. We visit the Basilica of Notre Dame Cap de la Madeleine. Sitting on the shores of the Saint Lawrence River the Basilica of Notre Dame is midway between Montreal and Quebec City, Cap de la Madeleine is a place of peace, tranquility and beauty. Its history goes back to 1634 when it was first settled. Lunch along our journey. We arrive in the midafternoon in Quebec City where you will have some free time to explore the Old City. We check into our hotel for the next two evenings. Dinner is included this evening at a popular restaurant. (B,D)B, D
Breakfast is included this morning. Today we explore the Shrine of St. Anne de Beaupre where over 1.5 million pilgrimages happen every year as they express their devotion to the mother of the Virgin Mary for whom this site has been consecrated since the mid-17th Century. Mass and a tour can be arranged. Following our visit, we travel to the beautiful Montmorency Falls and conclude with a visit to Marie's Bread Ovens for an afternoon treat. Breakfast is included this morning before departing Canada. We make our way south crossing the border into upstate New York. We make our way to the Lake George area. Depending on time we enjoy an afternoon paddlewheel cruise on the lake aboard the Minnie Ha Ha. We continue to our hotel where we spend the evening. Dinner is included at a local restaurant.
