Airfare & Airport Transfer:

The cost of airfare will be added to the trip once the flights are available later Spring 2021. We are planning on using Southwest Airlines, non-stop to Nashville from Baltimore. Included in your airfare cost will be the roundtrip airport transportation. We leave from one or two convenient locations in southern Delaware.

 

Deposit:

$150 per person/refundable up to August 29, 2021; after this date deposit is non-refundable however can be applied to a future tour.

November 29

We will travel from the Ocean View/Bethany area to BWI airport for our flight to Nashville. Flight schedule and cost to be added in May 2021.

Upon arrival we are met by our local representative and check-in: Gaylord Opryland Resort, 2800 Opryland Drive. Once everyone is settled, we will take a walking tour of the hotel.
6:30 p.m.- Dinner included at Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen.
8:00 p.m. - Following dinner, we’ll return to the hotel and head to a private room for an intimate evening with Richie McDonald (lead singer of Lonestar).

November 30

6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Full breakfast included at your leisure at the hotel (with vouchers).
9:00 a.m. - Professional guided city tour of Nashville, to include a self-guided tour of the historic Ryman Auditorium.
12:00 p.m. - Free time on historic 2nd Avenue (downtown) for shopping, etc. with lunch on own.
3:00 p.m. - Admission included to the Ryman Auditorium for a self-guided tour. Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark and must see for anyone visiting Nashville. Most famous as the home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943-1974, its history as Nashville’s premier theater and central gathering place started even before construction was complete in 1892. You’ll discover the divine inspiration behind the building’s construction as the Union Gospel Tabernacle in the 1880’s in our welcome video. Explore its rich entertainment history and how the Ryman became known as the “Carnegie Hall of South”, “Mother Church of Country Music”, and “Birthplace of Bluegrass”.
4:30 p.m. - Dinner included at Wildhorse Saloon.
7:00 p.m. - Experience the Grand Ole Opry – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest running live radio show. As the home of country music, the Opry offers an incredible mix of talent to create an American experience like no other! And, in November and December, the Opry returns to its most famous home, the Ryman Auditorium!

December 1

6:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. Full breakfast included at your leisure at the hotel (with vouchers). Free day to enjoy Gaylord Opryland Resort with Delta Flatboats and Ice tickets included (lunch on own).

Delta Flatboats – The Delta Riverboats travel down a scenic river that winds through a 4.5 acre indoor garden, while our guides offer unique facts about the Delta’s plants and fish and can answer most any question about the hotel.

ICE! – a whole new world of delightful ice environments and characters, Nashville’s most exciting and unique holiday destination is back and better than ever with an all-new theme! ICE! is hand carved by 40 artisans from Harbin, China.

Or, simply wander through the hotel doing some “people watching” and enjoy the lavish Christmas decorations throughout the hotel!

6:00 p.m. - Christmas Dinner Show in the ballroom at Gaylord Opryland Resort. Enjoy a scrumptious holiday dinner and be entertained by the Oak Ridge Boys!

6:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. - Full breakfast included at your leisure at the hotel (with vouchers).

Depart for home (lose 1 hour) and transfer back to the Ocean View/Bethany area.

Flight time and ticket cost to be added in May.
