Depart from Ocean View/Bethany Beach area and travel south to Virginia Beach by motorcoach. Where the Chesapeake Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean, the vibrant coastal city of Virginia Beach offers a flourishing local culinary scene, rich history, a variety of arts, entertainment and attractions. From the lively oceanfront area to the calming Chesapeake Bay your Virginia Beach vacation awaits you! Upon arrival relax and settle in before dinner with our group. (D)B, D
After breakfast at the hotel (included), a local guide will join us for a tour of Virginia Beach. Enjoy beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Chesapeake Bay as you learn about the history of Virginia’s largest city and get the pulse on current day Virginia Beach. See the First Landing Cross at Cape Henry where the English colonists first came ashore in 1607 prior to settling at nearby Jamestown. Enjoy a stop at the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse, built in 1792. This lighthouse was active until the late 1800’s and is currently a Virginia Historic Landmark. We’ll also see the historic Cavalier Hotel as well as the Tidewater Veterans Memorial, a unique structure which pays homage to veterans everywhere. Tour the Old Coast Guard Station, a former life-saving station from 1903, which houses exhibits dedicated to preserving our marine heritage. There will be time on your own for lunch and shopping at Town Center, a tree-lined, outdoor pedestrian mall. Later, we will travel to one of Virginia Beach’s most revered attractions, the Military Aviation Museum. This museum is the home to one of the largest private collections of World War II and Korean War era fighters, bombers, trainers and seaplanes in the world. We will return to the hotel after our tour to relax and freshen up before dinner (included) at Captain George’s Restaurant for an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. Day 3 - Wednesday
Breakfast at our hotel (included) before we depart for Colonial Williamsburg. A revolutionary good time is planned as we step back in history. Our local guide will take us on a tour where you’ll have time to meet the locals, engage in conversations about the day-to-day life and challenges of living in the new world. Next, you’ll have time for lunch on your own and free time in Merchant Square. Enjoy time at Yankee Candle Village. Far more than just candle stores, this is a special place where magic comes to life. From watching animated, singing characters to celebrating Christmas year-round, the Village is a destination where you’ll experience an enchanting mix of shopping and entertainment unlike any other store. Return to our with time to relax and freshen up before dinner with our group at a local restaurant. (B,D)
Begin your day with breakfast at our hotel (included.) Today we visit Norfolk. We begin at the famous Nauticus. Located on the downtown waterfront, Nauticus is a marine themed science center with 3D films and dozens of exhibits. You can also visit the Battleship Wisconsin and Hampton Roads Naval Museum. The museum presents 225 years of naval history. Next, we’ll enjoy a luncheon cruise aboard the Spirit of Norfolk. This fun, festive vessel provides delicious food, entertainment, dancing, climate-controlled decks and spacious observation decks to enjoy sightseeing. After the cruise enjoy a little free time to stroll the downtown waterfront before returning to our hotel. (B,L)

Tour Cancellation Policy:
Up to 120 days before departure: Full refund
120 days to 60: $100 deposit is retained
60 to 30 days prior departure: $300 penalty
30 days to day of departure: No refund
Single supplement: Single cost is $839. Should your roommate cancel you are subject to the single supplement charge unless travel protection purchased
Baggage: Baggage handling is provided for one suitcase per person. You are responsible for your carry-on.
